Our Program provides shelter and targeted support services to homeless males upon their release from jail or prison. Through case management services and mentorship, these men find jobs, maintain sobriety, transition to stable housing, and become responsible, self-sustaining citizens of our community.  We also provide life skills sessions covering the following topics:

  • Anger Management
  • Attitude
  • Communications Skills
  • Conflict Resolution
  • Decision Making/Problem Solving Skills
  • Embracing Change
  • Finance and Budgeting
  • Fitness and Health
  • Goals Setting
  • Personal Hygiene and Grooming
  • Relapse Prevention
  • Setting Personal Boundaries
  • Toxic Relationships

Clients accepted as a Harmony House Program participant are housed up to 90 days in our 5-bed Assessment Center. Clients work with their case manager to create an indi­vidualize program plan used to identify goals and track success. Goals include the following:

  • Obtain ID
  • Secure employment
  • Attend life skill sessions
  • Participate in community service
  • Participate in 12-step program (when applicable)
  • Follow rules and procedures of the Harmony House Program

Male and female ex-offenders who do not qualify for our Residential Program may still receive referral services to aid them in meeting their employment, education, sobriety, and self-sufficiency goals.
