Our Program provides shelter and targeted support services to homeless males upon their release from jail or prison. Through case management services and mentorship, these men find jobs, maintain sobriety, transition to stable housing, and become responsible, self-sustaining citizens of our community.  We also provide life skills sessions covering the following topics:

  • Anger management
  • Attitude
  • Communications Skills
  • Conflict resolution
  • Decision making / problem solving skills
  • Finance and budgeting
  • Fitness and health
  • Goal setting
  • Personal hygiene and grooming
  • Toxic relationships

Clients accepted as Harmony House residents are housed up to 90 days in our 5-bed home. Clients work with their case manager to create an individualized program plan used to identify goals and track success. Goals include the following:

  • Obtain ID
  • Secure employment
  • Attend counseling sessions and life skill classes
  • Participate in community service
  • Participate in substance abuse treatment and 12-step program (when applicable)
  • Follow rules and procedures of the Harmony House Program

Male and female ex-offenders who do not qualify for our Residential Program may still receive referral services to aid them in meeting their employment, education, sobriety, and self-sufficiency goals.
